Gabby Vasquez, diagnosed at 14
I was diagnosed in 2015 at the age of 14. Some symptoms I experienced were fatigue, headaches, swollen joints, hair loss and a lot of pain. I was misdiagnosed several times. I had never heard of lupus prior to my diagnosis and was very scared because I was so young. I was in remission primarily during college, but I’ve had flares over the past couple of years due to stress.
